Virginia Panel Corporation (VPC), founded in 1959, designs, manufactures and markets mass interface connection products for commercial, military, telecommunications, aerospace, medical, automotive, and consumer electronic applications. VPC is equipped with the latest technology for manufacturing interface systems. Successful affiliations with major government defence contractors attest to VPC's ability to perform well under strictly regulated guidelines.

Peak Group has been the exclusive UK sales and marketing representative of VPC since 2005 and, in that time, we have integrated their product interfaces into our own product designs to produce robust, reliable test and automation solutions.

Many of our core test system and fixture designs incorporate VPC products so as to maximise the mix and range of connections required (signal, power, coax, pneumatic etc.)

i2 Micro iCon

i2 Micro iCon is the newest member of VPC's iCon connector series. VPC developed the low I/O 168 signal pin connector to serve as a drop-in replacement for 156 pin ZIF connectors and to provide an alternative solution to MIL-SPEC circular connectors. The i2 Hybrid version offers up to 120 signal and 12 micro coaxial or micro power positions. The solid state, one piece module receiver is the perfect solution for low I/O applications in a variety of industries. VPC's new 84 or 60 pin right-angle headers enable direct connection from the i2 receiver to a PCB using solderless compliant pins for easy installation.

i1 - One Module Solution

i1 offers exceptional design features. The half-turn quick cam mechanism enables easy engagement. i1 accepts all standard iCon modules, offering a variety of I/O options, including signal, power and coaxial. A polarizing feature and optional keying ensure correct alignment and prevent damage to the connector. The 30Âº U-shaped cable clamp provides strain relief and reduces the height requirement.

iCon - Dual Module Solution

iCon is a fail-safe rack and panel connector specifically designed for the Test & Measurement industry. The unique engagement mechanism contains built-in lubrication and spring-loaded locking tabs that guarantee a reliable connection test after test. The iCon receiver is designed to be PCB compatible.

G-Series - Multi Module Solution

The G-Series offers the reliability of VPC InterConnect technology in a compact high-density, multi-module package. Simultaneously engaging a wide range of InterConnect options in multiple configurations, the G-Series provides quick, accurate connection in a rugged, reliable system and integrates a wide variety of I/O options in various module configurations.
